OTAMA CONCERT. - 1894

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,- ln your report of the concert held at Otama on the 20th ins.., I noticed these omissions :— Mr A. Archibald sang "Nanny that lives next door," and on being enthusiastically encored, responded with " The discontented farmer." Master G. Hunter, a little fellow of some 10 years of age, danced the sailor's hornpipe to his own violin music and acquitted himself most creditably, and at the dance which followed the concert, in addition to the violin music mentioned as supplied by Messrs Hunter and Dickson, Mr Joo. Hunter generously officiated at the piano,— l am, etc, R. L. Christie, Hon. Sec. Hall Committee.
